Strength evaluation of micro materials and micro parts has been increasing in importance in recent years in a variety of fields. These include the development of new materials such as superconductive materials; the practical application of micro machines; and the increasing demand for small and highly functional parts in the electronics and communication industries.

Shimadzu's Microservo MMT Series, with high-frequency tests up to 100Hz possible, has been introduced to address these new requirements. Featuring an electromagnetic actuator with an exceedingly high frequency response for its loading mechanism, combined with closed loop control, makes high speed and precise measurements possible over micro loads and micro displacement.
