If flexibility and high performance is key to your application needs, then the new DTG-60/60H is the instrument for you! The DTG series provides simultaneous differential thermal (DT) and thermogravimetric (TG) data, thus saving time on analysis and sample preparation. As in DSC, the TA-60WS thermal controller provides advanced acquisition, analysis, and report functions which ensure comprehensive simultaneous measurements.
The balance assembly is the heart of every thermogrametric analyzer. The DTG-60's newly designed X-shaped fulcrum provides a balance with both high sensitivity and excellent vibration-proof structure that is uniquely capable of performing differential weight measurements. Additionally, the incorporation of new A/D technology allows the DTG- 60/60H balance to operate over a very large dynamic mass range.
DTG-60/60H provides a true DTA setup. The sample and the reference position are located at the ends of detectors located on the balance beam. This arrangement provides a differential balance system that minimizes baseline drift caused by buoyancy or convection during the heating process, thus ensuring a stable baseline even at high temperatures.
The built-in cooling fan and the low-mass furnace provide short, efficient cooling times. After the completion of the measurement, the cooling starts automatically and stops when the furnace has reached a preset temperature. After auto-cooling, the next analysis can be started automatically. Cyclic and cooling runs are under full instrument control.
