Electron Beam Engineering has added a Low Frequency Beam Pulser to its Beamer Series line of EB Welders. The Low Frequency Pulser will modulate the electron beam during welding. Ultrasonic testing uses the transmission of high frequency sound waves into material to detect imperfections within the material or changes in material properties.
