Re: chosing of transister and s parameter for designing low noise microwave amplifie
I assume you know how to manipulate s parameters into z or y parameters, etc. And, I assume you know how to use a Smith Chart. You might start with an article by Vladimir Aparin, "Analyze Matching Networks For Low-Noise Amplifiers", in the May 12, 2007, issue of Microwaves & RF. (www.mwrf...

Re: Do Microwaves come in different colours?
I won't pretend to understand µwaves - if fact I've spent my whole professional life trying not to understand them, but I don't think electromagnetic radiation is stopped by enamel, or glass - which is why there is that thin metal screen in the window that keeps your eyes from cooking. I'm guessing...

Re: Do Microwaves come in different colours?
I had always assumed that the small-mesh screen in the glass door, by having holes smaller than the wavelength of the µ-waves, acted as would any Faraday cage, and stopped the passage of the electromagnetic energy. Your eyes don't cook (this would be most unpleasant, with them coagulating like grill...

Smith Anti-Friction Cam Followers
The Smith anti-friction cam follower roller bearing was developed for use in cam or track roller applications. It is a full-complement roller bearing with a thick outer race. This permits a heavy load rating in a small package, and allows for a non-supported and line loaded outer race. It is a precision low-cost unit, which is easily mounted and ideally suited for varied applications. |
