Dual Durometer Core Seal for HVAC system
IER Fujikura has developed a molding process to co-mold two rubber compounds. Each rubber compound is designed to seal the separate pressure environments of the HVAC system, at the same time. We formulated two distinct compounds, where a softer rubber durometer provides sealing at low pressure, and a harder rubber durometer provides sealing and resistance to high pressure. (read more)
