Tunnel diodes are heavily doped P-N diodes in which electron tunneling from the conduction band in the N-type material to the valence band in the P-type region produces a region of negative resistance. This negative-resistance region is the most important area of operation. As the voltage is increased, the current decreases. This feature makes tunneling diodes especially useful in oscillators and radio frequency (RF) applications. Search by Specification | Learn More
Unijunction transistors (UJT) are three-terminal devices that exhibit a negative resistance characteristic. Search by Specification | Learn More
Analog resistance meters are instruments that measure electrical resistance. They display values on a dial, usually with a needle or moving pointer. Search by Specification | Learn More
Gunn diodes or transfer electron devices (TED) exhibit a negative resistance region. They are used in high-frequency applications, often for building RF oscillators. Impact ionization avalanche transit-time (IMPATT) diodes are designed to operate at very high frequency and power. They are used as elements in RF and microwave devices. Resistance standards and decade boxes provide a highly accurate standard value of resistance for calibration and testing. Search by Specification | Learn More
Digital resistance meters are instruments that measure electrical resistance. They use solid-state components and display values digitally. Search by Specification | Learn More
Ground resistance testers are devices that are used to measure and test electrical grounding systems. Grounding enables optimum electrical continuity between conducting objects and earth. Search by Specification | Learn More
Electrical resistance and electrical conductance sensors measure the resistance or conductance of an electrical component or system. Learn More
Thermistors are thermally-sensitive devices whose electrical resistance varies with temperature. Unlike RTDs and thermocouples, thermistors do not have standards associated with their resistance vs. temperature characteristics or curves. Search by Specification | Learn More
...limiting diodes (CLD) regulate current over a wide voltage range. Gunn diodes are transfer electron devices (TED) which exhibit a negative resistance region. Impact ionization avalanche transit-time (IMPATT) diodes are high voltage diodes which... Search by Specification | Learn More

Temperature sensors are measurement devices that infer temperature by sensing some physical characteristic (i.e. resistance, emf or thermal radiation). Search by Specification | Learn More
Voltage converters and voltage inverters accept voltage input and provide a scaled voltage output. Conversion types include scaling up a low-level signal, voltage doubling, and inversion (converting a positive voltage to negative and vice versa Search by Specification | Learn More
PIN diodes are three-layer semiconductor diodes consisting of an intrinsic layer separating heavily doped P and N layers. The charge stored in the intrinsic layer in conjunction with other diode parameters determines the resistance of the diode Search by Specification | Learn More
Resistive temperature device (RTD) elements are wire windings or other thin-film serpentines that exhibit changes in resistance with changes in temperature. They are usually made of metallic elements or alloys such as copper, nickel, or nickel Search by Specification | Learn More
